As incubators for new ideas and emerging technologies, universities are replete with cutting edge concepts from students and professors that often need a handshake with the manufacturing industry to transform into profitable ventures. Carving a path from the classroom to the marketplace is a core competency of Scitus.
Students and professors with solid ideas have enjoyed partnering with Scitus to move outside the academic setting to achieve a finished product. When grant money or personal financing are insufficient for ‘big’ ideas, Equity Opportunities are available to ensure great ideas can make it to market.
University engineering departments with overbooked model shops also turn to Scitus to complete class projects, obtain design feedback, or to take creative concepts to production at any scale.
